Applications from ineligible candidates will be rejected after scrutiny, and the application fee will not be refunded.
Written examinations for Anterior Segment Fellowships Programs (Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Comprehensive Ophthalmology + Neuro Ophthalmology, Cornea, Glaucoma, Oculoplasty, Paediatric Ophthalmology, Neuro Ophthalmology) and Posterior Segment Fellowships Programs (Uvea, Vitreo Retina, Medical Retina Advanced, Medical Retina & Uvea)
are conducted on separate dates at the Padma Bhushan Dr. S.S. Badrinath campus - Sankara Nethralaya main campus.

Written examinations for Anterior Segment Fellowships and
Vitreoretinal (VR) Fellowships are conducted on separate dates
at the Sankara Nethralaya campus.
Examination marks are forwarded to the respective Heads of Departments (HODs)
for shortlisting candidates for interviews.
The list of shortlisted candidates for interviews will be published
on the website.
3. In-Person Interview
Interviews for Anterior Segment Fellowships including
Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Cornea,
Glaucoma, Oculoplasty, Uvea, and Neuro Ophthalmology
will be conducted on a single day.
Applications, scoring sheets, and MCQ marks will be provided to each interview station.
Respective Heads of Departments will conduct interviews and finalize selections.
Results and the selection list will be declared on the website at the end of the interviews.
4. Selection and Admission
Selection letters will be issued based on the final selection list.
Selected candidates must confirm their intent to join the programme.
Upon confirmation, candidates must submit soft copies of the following documents:
MBBS Degree Certificate
CRRI Certificate
PG Degree Certificate / Provisional Certificate
State Medical Council Registration
NOC from State Medical Council (for TNMC Registration)
NOC from Current Employer (if applicable)
Selected candidate files will be forwarded to the HRD department for admission processing.
If a selected candidate declines the offer, the next candidate from the waiting list
will be considered.
